Hasbro Press Photos from Lucca Comics and Games

Hasbro hosted their first panel ever at the Lucca Comics and Games Convention in Italy today. In keeping inline with their international convention tour reveals, two new figures were shown today which are both set for 2019. The good folks over at www.guerrestellari.net/ live streamed the panel which you can view here: Hasbro once again provided us with official press photos of today's reveals. Mace has long been rumored and Poe is a reissue from the Wal*Mart Exclusive 3.75" Black Series line. We predicted he would see release in TVC in our article "Who Will Be the Next Vintage Collection Released". This should conclude Hasbro's convention reveals for 2018. Hasbro Press Photos from MCM London Comic Con

Coming hot off of the weekend's Comic Con Paris reveals, Hasbro gave preview of two additional figures coming in 2019. At the MCM London Comic Con panel, Hasbro showed off the upcoming Battle Droid figure for The Black Series and a Vintage Collection R2-D2. Hasbro's Star Wars Design Director Steve Evans has stated that 2019 would focus on the prequels and this reveal is inline with those comments. Press Photos from Comic Con Paris

Today at Comic Con Paris, Hasbro revealed their latest new Black Series 6" figure. Keeping with their promise that 2019 would feature more Prequel Trilogy characters, Padme' Amidala from Attack of the Clones will be joining the collection in Spring of next year. Also revealed was the press photo of the Chewbacca that will be coming to The Vintage Collection next Spring as well. This figure was previously seen listed on the back of a TVC just last month. Hasbro has provided us with official press photos of both releases.

The Black Series Archive Wave 2 Press Photos

This week Starwars.com released an article detailing the second wave of the upcoming Black Series 6" Archive collection. This series which focuses on releasing popular characters from The Black Series line with some photo-real printing upgrades. The Archive line has been two years in the making, due in large part to the fans who talk directly to the Hasbro executives on the convention circuit. “We’ve actually been discussing this in one form or another for literally the past two years,” Schneider says. “And it was just based on this idea: Fans would say, ‘It’s great that you’re releasing 4-LOM. Disney’s Droid Factory Sandcrawler Playset

Disney's Droid Factory Sandcrawler crew to date! Thanks to TOY RUN: The Star Wars Action Figure Cast listener Sammy L., we have received and added the Disney Parks exclusive Droid Factory Sandcrawler Playset to our Build-a-Droid Guide! The set is rather fantastic, as it, like its predecessor the Starspeeder 1000, has lots of sounds and light-up features. One of the stand out features includes a working electronic droid elevator. The set is very large and more than doubles the Kenner version which was re-purposed in the Hasbro line in 2004. The Jawa figure (left) included with the set features ball-jointed shoulders and swivel wrists but no other articulation.
