The Reissues Awaken

Unlike movie-based lines of the Prequel Era, The Force Awakens line seems to be offering up a fair amount of figures reissued from previous lines. Yakface.com confirms (via BB-8 News Facebook page )what we discussed on the last Galaxy of Toys Podcast; that a Slave 1 with Boba Fett will be coming in TFA packaging. Another set of reissues that appear to be coming are two Epic Battles Toys 'R' Us exclusives. The 6-pack sets appear to be themed by trilogies and offer figures that save for Qui-Gon appear to all be 5 POA reissues from the last few lines. This reveal also comes from a Facebook page. The Force Awakens Trailer

We teared up at, "It's all true...all of it." ESPN's Monday Night Football played host to the debut of the first official full trailer for The Force Awakens. Leading up to the halftime showing many theaters put tickets for the December 18th premiere up for the pre-sale (which not surprisingly broke the internet for the evening). Now back to watching the trailer another 19 hundred and seventy-seven times!

The Force Awakens Teasers and Ticket Info – UPDATE

This morning Star Wars: The Force Awakens took over the internet! Starwars.com released not only the theatrical one-sheet but a list of theaters participating in various special showings and exclusives which will all go on sale tomorrow. In addition to this, Starwars.com announced that "new footage" (aka the official trailer we suspect) we appear during Monday night football on Disney-owned ESPN tomorrow night. Gold 5’s Report following NYCC

Now that New York Comic Con's Hasbro, panel has come to pass, we have updated our "Gold 5's Report" on upcoming figures. Not only have we included the Seventh Sister Inquisitor from Season 2 of Rebels (which begins this Wednesday) but the newly listed Class II Vehicle Slave 1 with Exclusive Figure found at BigBadToyStore.com. The vehicle is listed as being from Episode V and so it is likely to include the 5POA Boba Fett most recently released in the Armor Up line. Until next time, May the Figures be with you!

Last Saturday we began our countdown of the 75 days left until the premiere of The Force Awakens. We are celebrating this highly anticipated next episode of the Star Wars Saga by opening a different action figure, vehicle and/or accessory every day until December 18th.
